The Last Flight of the Dodo Bird Work Reel

This was a reel that compiled the pencil animation of the dodo bird for my cartoon, “The Last Flight of the Dodo Bird”. It was a reworking of the abstract story I had initially developed for the film “All Art Is Endangered.” At the time I wanted to do an animation again on the dodo bird since it had been some time since the latter film. Since that time I reconceived the plotline to focus on the bird’s attempts to fly only to fall off a cliff at the very end. Some animation that had been in the reel was reincorporated in different ways while others were cut in order to tighten the storyline and to focus exclusively on the bird.
