California Dreamin

"California Dreamin", based on my favorite song by The Mamas & the Papas, was to have been my next animated short film following "All Art is Endangered". It would have been completed during the Advanced Animation course in spring 2011. Storyboards, pencil tests, computer animation tests, and even a work reel were compiled for the first act of the film. As the semester progressed, however, the film gradually evolved into "The World is a Canvas to the Imagination". Much of the footage that was intended for “California Dreamin” was repurposed into the new film. The cut footage that was left on the floor at the end of the semester would be used for my other short films over the years.
