Bedtime

This is the scene with Granny sleeping in bed just before she gets up to sleepwalk in the room. Liz Rodriguez and I set up the scene with all the furniture and picture frames in place to start working. Stop motion animation requires any scene to be shot with a camera frame by frame with little to no movement to the camera’s position. When we would shoot the scene we would have the legs of the camera stand marked with tape on the floor so that we would know where it was supposed to be from day to day. We also had to make sure the camera did not move a lot while shooting or else the jittering would not only be too distracting to watch but also forced to re-film the entire scene from scratch.
